Project Particulars:  The Pattison Bridge (1st Street SE) over Elbow River is a two-span 60.554m in length; four-lane one-way traffic bridge over the Elbow River in downtown Calgary with a clear roadway width of 14.737m. The Scope of Work for this project includes the removal and disposal of the existing PMA on the deck, roadway asphalt and the existing joints on both abutments. The deck shall be paved with Polymer Modified Asphalt, and a Thorma Joints (Hot Poured Asphaltic Plug Joint) shall be installed on the abutments and pier joint locations. Prior to paving with new PMA and installing the new plug joints, the concrete repairs on the deck and the joint locations shall be completed.

Project Particulars: Involved the supply and installation of an 8m Wide X 18m long section of deep structural steel plate liner inside an existing open bottom 50m long culvert that carries Hidden Creek Drive NW over West Nose Creek in Calgary. The liner installation was required to support a section of culvert that had deflected due to a suspected washout of materials from behind the existing culvert. Once installed a polymer resin was injected behind the side walls of existing culvert and between new liner and existing culvert.

Project Particulars: Horseshoe Hill Construction Inc was contracted by Provence of New Brunswick for the Phase 4 Rehabilitation of the Florenceville Bridge (F470) located in Florenceville, Carlton County, N.B. The work included the deck rehabilitation and FRP strengthening of the Florenceville bridge main span and South approach span including upgrades to the railing and curbs, expansion joint replacements and modifications to the east abutment and approach to suit the new railing/curb configurations. The work was completed in stages and traffic phasing leaving the bridge open to one lane of traffic. Due to the severe deterioration of the post tensioning withing the structure DTI has engaged HHC to also perform exterior strengthening of the cantilever sections to be partially completed during the winter shutdown.
